The AdderView Pro AV4PRO-DP is designed to enable four computers equipped with Display Port technology to be controlled from a single KVM console. This unit makes use of Adder's True Emulation Technology which enables USB HID, low and full speed, devices to be continuously emulated to each computer providing instantaneous and reliable hotkey switching. Furthermore, this AdderView Pro 4-port includes two independently switchable USB 2.0 channels and an audio channel, giving the user the flexibility to attach your keyboard and mouse peripherals to different computers. An 'Options' port enables this unit to be remotely switched using a 4 button switch unit (RC4).
Two AV4PRO-DP units can linked together to create a 4 Port Dual Monitor DisplayPort KVM switch by using a VSC41 synchronising cable.

High definition DisplayPort 1.1 video support
The AV4PRO-DP is DisplayPort 1.1 compliant (4 lanes at 2.7Gb/s). DisplayPort's high performance is important for enabling new digital display experiences. For example, DisplayPort can easily support high end monitors featuring 2560x1600 resolution at 60Hz refresh rate and 10 bits per color, 1920x1200 resolution at 120Hz refresh rate, and Full HD monitors at 1920x1080 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate at 12 bits per color without latency, all over standard cables.
True USB 2.0 emulation
Unlike most KVM switches, which only support the most basic keyboard and mouse features, Adder's revolutionary 'True Emulation' allows you to use the extra function keys, wheels, buttons and controls that are commonly found on modern keyboards and mice. You can also use any other USB interface device including graphics tablets, jog shuttles, joysticks, 3D explorers, and wireless bluetooth keyboard & mouse*.
Independent USB & Audio device switching
The AdderView Pro AV4PRO-DP includes two independently switchable USB 2.0 channels and an audio channel, giving the user the flexibility to attach selected peripherals to different computers. For example, use the KVMA console to work on one computer whilst your USB peripherals are connected to other computers and your speakers are playing music from yet another.
Broad High Speed device support - Transparent USB 2.0 Hub
An integrated transparent 2-port USB 2.0 hub allows a vast range of USB devices can be connected to the AV4PRO-DP from non standard keyboard / mouse devices to flash drives, printers and scanners.
Fast & Reliable Switching
Country code reporting, and continuous keyboard and mouse emulation ensure faultless operation. The USB 2.0 switching action has also been carefully engineered to ensure maximum computer reliability when connecting and disconnecting USB devices.
Channel selection options
The AdderView Pro AV4PRO-DP can be switched using the front panel buttons, selectable keyboard hotkeys, 3 button mice, an On-Screen-Display (OSD), or using simple ASCII codes via serial RS232. Optionally, you can also use the RC4 remote switch to make your selection. These switching options allow you to rapidly reassign connected devices to any of the connected computers.
Dual-Monitor configuration
Two AV4PRO-DP units can linked together to create a 4-port dual monitor DisplayPort KVM switch by using a VSC41 synchronising cable.
Multi-platform support
The AV4PRO-DP works with all known software and computer platforms, with PS/2, USB and Sun, including Windows (all), DOS, Linux, Unix, BSD, all Sun OS, all Mac OS, NetWare, etc.
Plug and Play
AdderView Pro KVM devices are delivered in a zero configuration state so you can plug them in and start working on them straight away. There is no need for drivers or software to be installed.
