Connect multiple cables and create a longer run
The Gefen HDMI-Mate (ADA-HDMI-MATE) lets you connect multiple HDMI cables to create a longer running cable distance between source DVD or Set-top boxes and the HDTV display.
HDMI cables are now available.
The cables use a much smaller connecter than DVI style connector. The HDMI specification handles all HDTV resolutions of uncompressed video and up to eight channel of digital audio, all enclosed in one simple cable and HDMI connectors.
Gefen ADA-HDMI-MATE Applications:
- Extending HDMI cables by offering to "string" them along.
- Bridging between DVI cables and HDMI cables
